Our approach brings imaginative design and considered planning together. Sometimes lavish, sometimes intimate, always shaped around the people in the room.

Meet Samantha, Founder & Creative Director
I have loved celebrating people for as long as I can remember.
Growing up, I would wake up at three in the morning to decorate for my siblings' birthdays, filling the hallway with balloons and stacking pancakes to match the age they were turning. I loved the anticipation of it all, but more than anything, I loved making the people around me feel special.
Not much has changed. I am still finding reasons to celebrate, planning gatherings for the people in my life and putting probably more thought than necessary into every little detail. I love the entire process, from imagining something beautiful to seeing a room full of people enjoying it.
Over the years, my experience in events and concierge healthcare has given me a greater appreciation for thoughtful planning and exceptional service. But my favorite part has always been the people. The conversations that last for hours, the laughter around a table and the memories that become stories we tell for years.
I created The Borrowed Hour because I believe the time we spend together deserves to be celebrated. And if someone is giving us a few hours of their life, I want to make those hours something truly worth remembering.
